In early 2009, Kate Winslet appeared in two films based on novels: The Reader, a post-WWII drama, and Revolutionary Road, a film directed by her husband, Sam Mendes, that reunited her with Titanic costar Leonardo DiCaprio. She won a Best Supporting Actress Golden Globe for her role in The Reader and a Best Actress Golden Globe for her role in Revolutionary Road. Read more about Kate Winslet
